Join the Toettcher Lab

We are seeking people at either side of the interface of cell biology, systems biology, and engineering. The Toettcher lab is a great place for people who like to cross the boundaries of traditional scientific disciplines, happy to blaze a trail where their questions guide them. We want to expand to new biological systems and develop new methods, so prior expertise in experimental biology, computational biology, and engineering disciplines such as signal processing and control theory is highly valuable.

Postdoc positions

Highly motivated postdocs who whould like to develop independent projects related to the lab’s core interests (e.g. engineering novel inputs to cell signaling; dissecting the principles of single-cell and multicellular decision-making) should email Dr. Toettcher directly. Please provide your CV and contact information for three references.

Graduate Students

We are a young and growing lab! The Toettcher lab is currently accepts students from the Molecular Biology graduate program and Chemical and Biological Engineering.

Princeton Undergraduates

We have a number of projects ideal for highly motivated Princeton undergraduates from a variety of backgrounds (e.g. biology, physics, engineering) who are considering a career in research. Contact Dr. Toettcher for more information.
